Thailand tops development index in Southeast Asia
Thailand ranks top among Southeast Asian nations in an annual report gauging progress toward achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, or SDGs.
The SDGs are 17 goals set for 2030. They aim to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity. This year’s report shows Thailand has cut poverty, produced more clean water and improved sanitation, as well as boosting employment and GDP.
