Thailand launches food loss and waste reduction campaign

The Thai government has joined hands with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Japan to find measures to help reduce food loss and waste, while promoting sustainable agricultural development.

The Assistant to the Permanent Secretary for Agriculture and Cooperatives, Rapibhat Chandarasrivongs, attended the launch of the government’s “Capacity Building to Reduce Avoidable Food Waste in Micro, Small and Medium Food Processing Enterprises” campaign on Thursday (Sept 6) at Amari Watergate Bangkok.
