Service industry and logistics are major developments to be implemented in Sa Kaeo Special Economic Zone.
The Department of Treasury collaborates with Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) to establish Sa Kaeo Special Economic Zone focusing on service industry and logistics, as well as linking the Southern Economic Corridor from Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar. The IEAT is confident that it can be operational by 2018. Currently, a number of private investors have already reserved to lease the land.
