Military helping authorities fight drought

The Royal Irrigation Department has confirmed that current water management operations are on track, with enough water in reserve until July in case of rain shortages. The army has mobilized its personnel to assist villagers in severely affected areas.

In Uthai Thani province, the Royal Thai Army’s mobile development unit 15, has delivered 12,000 liters of drinking water purified using the RO system of mobile drinking water making vehicles, to boost the water supply to Anuban Huai Khot School in Huai Khot district.
