Floods damage over 20,000 rai of farmlands this year

The Agriculture and Cooperatives Ministry announced on Thursday that flooding has damaged more than 20,000 rai of agricultural land and that 7 million baht has been spent compensating more than 1,000 farmers.

Peeraphan Kothong, the ministry’s deputy spokesman, said according to the report covering damages incurred from July 5 to September 2:
