Amid drought, EEC can’t be left parched
PTT Group executives met with Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak on Wednesday (February 12) to discuss the chronic drought’s likely effects on business, especially in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC).
PTT president and chief executive Chansin Treenuchagron said an aqueduct system is in place to supply water from Chanthaburi to the EEC in Rayong, but long-term plans are needed.
