Thai agricultural GDP almost back at 2019 level as demand rises

Thailand’s third-quarter agricultural gross domestic product (GDP) recovered to drop by only 0.4 per cent year on year, the Office of Agricultural Economics said on Wednesday.

The office secretary-general Chantanon Wannakejohn said production of economic crops, such as rice, tapioca, pineapple, palm oil, mangosteen and rambutan dropped due to drought.
