The cabinet on Tuesday (Aug 7th) has approved the Higher Education Act. The Education Minister, Clin. Prof. Udom Kachintorn, said the approval of the Higher Education Act would lead to the establishment of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. He said the National Legislative Assembly (NLA) is expected endorse its establishment by this November, because the Prime Minister, Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, fully supports the plan.
