ตามรายงานการจำแนกสถานะประเทศของธนาคารโลกล่าสุด ระบุว่า ประเทศกัมพูชา พม่า ลาว และเวียดนามเป็นประเทศที่มีรายได้ปานกลาง ในขณะที่ประเทศไทยเป็นประเทศที่มีรายได้ปานกลางถึงมากสำหรับปีงบประมาณ 2562 ปัจจุบันประเทศที่มีรายได้ต่ำจะรายได้มวลรวมประชาชาติต่อประชากร คือ 995 เหรียญรายได้มวลรวมประชาชาติต่อประชากรหรือน้อยกว่า ตามวิธีการคำนวณของ World Bank Atlas method ในปี 2560 ประเทศที่มีรายได้ปานกลางถึงต่ำ คือ กลุ่มประเทศที่มีรายได้มวลรวมประชาชาติต่อประชากรระหว่าง 996 ถึง 3,895 เหรียญสหรัฐฯ ประเทศที่มีรายได้ปานกลางถึงสูงจะอยู่ระหว่าง 3,896 ถึง 12,055 เหรียญสหรัฐฯ และประเทศที่มีรายได้สูงจะมีรายได้มวลรวมประชาชาติต่อประชากรอยู่ที่ 12,056 เหรียญสหรัฐฯขึ้นไปสามารถดาวน์โหลดการจำแนกสถานะประเทศตามรายได้ในรูปแบบ XLS และประวัติการจำแนกพร้อมเปรียบเทียบปีต่อปีในรูปแบบ XLS ผ่านทางเว็บไซต์ของธนาคารโลก ...
